Two men jailed after New Year’s Day assault


TAHLEQUAH — Tahlequah police arrested two men early New Year’s day after an assault on South College Avenue.

Police said they responded to a fight and discovered three victims. Officers arrested 19-year-old Remington White, of Tahlequah, and 19-year-old Jacob Reece, of Jay, for simple assault.

Police on Tuesday night arrested a juvenile who was caught smoking marijuana in a restroom at The Skatehouse.

Jerimiah D. Mollie, 24, of Tahlequah, was arrested Wednesday morning for public intoxication and obstructing an officer. Police arrested Mollie after he allegedly tried to fight several people near Seneca and Trimble.

Police responded Wednesday morning to the 300 block of East Ward, where several underage drinkers were caught.

Police arrested two juveniles Wednesday night at Walmart when they attempted to leave the store without paying for merchandise.

In other matters, Haley Pratt filed a report this week when her residence was burglarized. The suspect took a TV, bow, and jewelry.

Joseph Headrick filed a report recently about his vehicle being burglarized on West Morgan Street.

Phillip King spoke with police about some of his property being stolen.

Lisa Ketcher told officers Tuesday that three guns, electronics, and two bows were taken from her home on York Street.

Police spoke to Kevin Kremin this week after Kremin’s camper was burglarized while it was parked on at a campground on South Muskogee.

Tanner Robb reported his vehicle’s license plate being stolen from either Southridge or Walmart. The tag is 521-DWP, according to police.

Employees at Big B’s filed a report early Wednesday morning when a man and woman attempted to steal two 30-packs of Bud Light.

Kayla Crow filed an information report Tuesday afternoon.
