Police respond to domestic disturbance

TAHLEQUAH — Tahlequah police responded to a domestic disturbance Wednesday evening at Taco Bell.

Christa Luethje spoke to police about the domestic altercation, but the suspect had left the business before police arrived.

Police spoke to Cleo Gomez Monday after responding to Oak Hill Inn Suites for an assault in progress. Officers said Gomez refused to write a statement or cooperate.

Officers responded to an elderly woman’s home Wednesday. Police said she had fallen a week earlier and was being transported to a hospital for her injuries. The woman told police she feared someone might want to come to her house and harm her.

Police filed a report earlier this week after a pit bull dog was taken to the city pound. The dog had been running around in the Highland Drive area, and the animal’s owners were reportedly out of town.

Alicia Gourd reported her purse stolen from her vehicle Monday.
