Cherokee County sheriff’s deputies arrested a man last week after finding him walking down the middle of the road.
Jesse Alan Beavers, 21, of Tahlequah, was booked for public intoxication and unlawful possession of a concealed weapon. Beavers allegedly smelled of alcohol when he was walking down the road and had a machete stuffed into the back of his pants. Beavers allegedly told deputies he had the machete to protect himself from dogs as he was walking.
Jason L. Baldridge, 29, of Hulbert, was arrested last week for possession of a firearm after a felony conviction and domestic assault and battery second offense in the presence of a minor.
Christopher Amayehtli, 27, of Tahlequah, was arrested Nov. 30 for driving under the influence second or subsequent. Amayehtli allegedly had a breath-alcohol content of .14.
Donald Ray Wilder, 64, of Tahlequah, was arrested last week for violation of a protective order and public intoxication.
Ashley Renee Bailey, 25, of Tahlequah, was arrested for domestic assault and battery.
Destiny Marie Dale, 33, of Cookson, was arrested for domestic assault and battery last week after allegedly hitting a man in the face with her fists.
A 17-year-old boy was placed into a juvenile facility this week after he allegedly attacked a woman. The victim said the boy threw a glass bottle at her, hit her on the back of the head when she fell to the floor, and tried to choke her and make her pass out. Another woman at the home had to hit the teen in the back of the head to get him off of the victim, deputies said. The teen allegedly said he had been putting poison into a woman’s food trying to slowly kill her, and threatened to harm others in the house.

Deputies spoke to a woman Saturday who said a man assaulted her and held her inside a bathroom for about three hours. She was eventually able to escape and get help. According to deputies, the incident was a result of an argument between the man and woman.
