Stick Ross officials report water theft

TAHLEQUAH — Officials with a local water district spoke with deputies this week about the theft of water.

Employees of Stick Ross Mt. Water Inc. said they have locked a water meter several times due to the customers’ lack of payment, but the lock on the meter has been cut.

In other matters, Lori Clinton told deputies a woman threatened to use a baseball bat and break into her house.

Employees at Jimmy Houston said a man passed two bogus checks recently and left without paying for fuel.

Billy Harrison told deputies he was threatened by a man who fired a shotgun in his direction.

Elsie Whitely spoke with deputies about a window being shattered on a truck.

William Drain told deputies he has been receiving threats from a woman through text messages recently.

Dyllon Fite reported a family member stole his personal information recently and used it to make a credit application.
