Man jailed for theft

TAHLEQUAH — Tahlequah police arrested a man Tuesday afternoon when he allegedly fled from Walmart without paying for merchandise.

Keith Goodnight, 52, of Tahlequah, was booked into jail for petit larceny.

Jonas Albert Summers, 26, of Tahlequah, was arrested for public intoxication and outstanding warrants on Tuesday. Police said Summers was “extremely agitated” and told officers they couldn’t speak with him without an attorney present.

In other matters, Jack Reese spoke with police this week after three electric heaters and a gas heater were stolen from his property.

Louise Stallings spoke with police Tuesday about a woman who entered her home and took several items.

Diana Johnston told police Tuesday that two unauthorized charges were made on her bank account.

Katy Adams told police Tuesday that she has been receiving phone threats from a man.

Police filed a child-neglect report Monday when two children were left unattended in a parked vehicle.

Derek Rorbaugh filed a larceny report Tuesday.
