Tahlequah police arrested a Tulsa man early Tuesday morning after a traffic stop near Fourth Street and the State Highway 51 bypass.
Police said they made contact with a man, who identified himself as “Martin,” and also gave them a middle and last name, during the traffic stop. But the man later reversed the middle and last names he’d given officers.
Tahlequah Sgt. Jason Girdner said the man – later identified as 21-year-old Seth Allen Carloss – became “very fidgety and would not keep his hands visible” to officers. Police found the man’s identification near his feet and learned he had given them a fake name.
Officers learned Carloss was being sought for a warrant out of Tulsa County and placed him under arrest for obstruction. Officers found a plastic bag with four white pills; two syringes; a spoon and glass pipe with residue; and other items commonly associated with drug use.
