TAHLEQUAH — Cherokee County sheriff’s investigators recently spoke to a 16-year-old girl who said she was struck by a vehicle several months ago.

The girl said she was riding her bicycle near the Birdtail Addition when she was hit by a Jeep in July. The woman driving the vehicle reportedly stopped, but refused to take the girl to the hospital or provide her information and left. The girl’s father recently spotted the vehicle and obtained a tag number, investigators said.

In other matters, David Dodd recently reported he found his saddle at a pawn shop. Dodd told deputies he loaned the saddle out a few years ago and never got it back.

Alisha Caro reported being harassed Wednesday.
