TAHLEQUAH — City employees called police Tuesday morning when they discovered vandalism at the site of the ice rink near Norris Park.

Police said employees with the recreation department discovered a line of lights had been pulled down from poles and nine light bulbs had been broken.

In other matters, police filed a report Tuesday when a juvenile shoplifted a soda and other items at Walmart. The child was detained and turned over to his guardian.
