Man booked for assaulting guard


TAHLEQUAH — Tahlequah police arrested a man Sunday afternoon when he allegedly assaulted a security guard at Tahlequah City Hospital.

David Owens, 47, was booked into jail after the assault. Police said Owens had been disruptive at the hospital before the alleged assault.

Ryan Larue, 20, of Broken Bow, was arrested Saturday for driving under the influence after a traffic stop was made.

Tyler Williamson, 25, of Tahlequah, was arrested Saturday for public intoxication and drug-related charges after a disturbance was reported on Victor Street.

Kyra Thomas, 19, of Broken Bow, was arrested Friday after a hit-and-run crash. Police said a driver in a second vehicle stopped to call police, and Thomas drove off. She was later found and jailed for leaving the scene of a crash.

Jose Saldana, 23, of Tahlequah, was arrested for actual physical control on Saturday after being found asleep in his vehicle near Fox and Hillcrest.

Samuel Reed, 20, of Muskogee, was arrested Saturday after allegedly lying about his name when police responded to an assault call.

Reed was also allegedly under the influence of some sort of stimulant, officers said.

Wesley R. Martin, 31, of Tahlequah, was arrested Friday for shoplifting at Atwoods. A police report indicates Martin was also arrested for shoplifting from a local gaming business.

Bonnie Wickham filed a harassment report Friday.

Patti Flemmons spoke to police Friday about an assault.

Employees at Lowe’s spoke to police Friday about the theft of merchandise.

Michelle Stockman filed a report Saturday after her mailbox was spray painted by a girl. Stockman was able to resolve the issue with the child’s guardians.

Leona Walker reported the unauthorized use of a debit card last week.

Dorothy Frie spoke to police last week about a lost or stolen wallet.

Melanie Siers spoke to police about a vehicle burglary Sunday and said an iPod Touch and iPod HHS were stolen.

Christopher Crittenden filed a vandalism report Thursday.

Keith Head spoke with police Sunday about a residential burglary and furniture being damaged.

Paige Staton spoke with police Saturday about the theft of a bicycle.

Police filed a report after they arrested several juveniles this weekend when a party turned into a fight.
