Mark Allen Winchester, 26, was booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center on charges of public intoxication/drugs, and carrying a concealed weapon. He was discovered on the back porch of an elderly couple’s home, wrapped in blankets and shivering. According to the report, Winchester appeared to be intoxicated, had dilated pupils and was described as nervous. Winchester requested medical treatment and was transported to Tahlequah City Hospital. He left when he was informed a toxicology screen would need to be conducted before treatment could proceed. Winchester was found at a nearby EZ Mart, disoriented and unsteady on his feet. He was reported to be carrying a 6-inch fixed blade.

A Sugar Mountain Retreat employee saw Biesterfield strike another man under the left eye, according to the report. The employee told deputies  Biesterfield approached her and stated the victim had taken the suspect’s phone and Biesterfield then proceeded to enter a room where the victim was, and punched him in the face. Biesterfield said he threw a soda pop can and struck the victim in the face.

Margaret Ridenhour filed a theft report, saying her Toshiba laptop computer had been stolen. Ridenhour said an intruder entered her North 490 Road residence while she and her children were attending church.
