Peggs man arrested after three-vehicle crash


TAHLEQUAH — Tahlequah police arrested a Peggs man last week after he was involved in a three-vehicle crash.

Shannon W. Beaver, 35, was arrested for failure to obey a traffic control device, driving under suspension second offense, no insurance, transporting an open container of beer, no seat belt, and other charges.

Michael R. Chuculate, 55, and Andrea M. Smith, 27, both of Tahlequah, were arrested for public intoxication Saturday after police said the two were spotted staggering through Norris Park. Smith also allegedly had marijuana in her possession.

Richard Johnson, 18, of Muskogee, was arrested Sunday for driving under the influence. Police also arrested Tevin Adams, 18, of Muskogee, during the same traffic stop.

Danilo A. Gonzalez, 48, of Tahlequah, was arrested Sunday after allegedly shoplifting food from Walmart.

Randy L. Groover, 47, of Tahlequah, was arrested Saturday after allegedly assaulting his neighbor.

Andrew T. Cooper, 23, of Tahlequah, was arrested Friday for drug paraphernalia. A passenger in Cooper’s vehicle, Dustin Burr, 22, of Tahlequah, was arrested for public intoxication.

Jacob A. Stopp, 22, of Tahlequah, was arrested for larceny of merchandise from a retailer and obstruction on Friday after allegedly stealing items from Walmart and running.

Sammy C. Pritchett, 52, of Tahlequah, was arrested Friday for public intoxication and for outstanding warrants.

Elmer L. Walker, 46, of Tahlequah, was arrested Saturday for domestic violence.

Jodie Haddock told police Saturday she received harassing phone calls.

Tiffany Burnett reported a vehicle battery stolen Saturday.

Breeanna Shepherd told police someone used her debit card twice a local convenience store.

Doak Willis reported Friday that someone embezzled money from his law firm.

Tom Beasley told police his mailbox and stand was stolen last week.

George Ritzhaupt spoke to police Sunday about a school-owned vehicle being vandalized with eggs.

Isabel Landaverde told police her vehicle's license plate may have been taken last week. Jasper Ragsdale told police on Friday that he was harassed.
