Prescription forgery nets arrest

TAHLEQUAH — Tahlequah police arrested a man last weekend who allegedly tried to used forged prescriptions at a couple of local pharmacies.

A pharmacist at Cherokee Hills Pharmacy told police Jimmy Bryant, 52, of Tulsa, tried to use a forged prescription to buy a controlled drug. When police arrived, Bryant fled and was later found hiding near a car wash. Police said Bryant also tried to buy a controlled drug with a forged prescription at Walgreen’s Cox Drug.

Melissa Robbins filed a report Tuesday about an assault in a bank parking lot.

Logan Rhodes reported an unauthorized transaction on his bank account last week.

Christopher Foster, an employee of Tahlequah Public Works Authority, reported a dog bite Monday. The canine was later taken to the city pound.

Jason Archer told police Monday he was issued a prescription and lost it before he was able to have it filled at a pharmacy.

Jordan Clark filed a report with police last week after a man made threats to her.

Sandra Aguilar told police Tuesday someone used her vehicle without her knowledge.

Carter Care employees reported receiving harassing phone calls from an ex-employee Monday.

Keith Barrick spoke to police Tuesday about unauthorized use of a debit card.
