Police Beat - Man jailed for DUI, possession after crash

TAHLEQUAH — A Tahlequah man was arrested by police Saturday evening after a crash near Park Hill Road and Fifth Street.

Steven A. Hummingbird, 29, was arrested by Tahlequah officers for driving under the influence and possession of marijuana.

Antonio Davis, 33, of Tahlequah, was arrested Sunday evening for driving under suspension, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.

Police arrested 20-year-old Tiffany Wagnon, of Wagoner, and 25-year-old Maria Cummings of Fort Smith, Ark., on Saturday after the vehicle they were in collided into another. Police said Wagnon was booked for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Officers spoke with Teresia Jones last week about a GPS being stolen from a vehicle.

Christian Pillow reported a home burglary and theft of a semi-automatic pistol Friday.

Georgenna Szczygiel reported a home being vandalized last week.

Ann Reneau told police about threats and harassing phone calls last week.

Employees at Tahlequah Public Works Authority spoke to police after a woman called Friday and made threats.

Andrea Swimmer told police Saturday about being threatened.

Two male suspects took two 30-packs of Keystone beer from EZ-Mart West Saturday and ran out of the store. Police said the suspects were not arrested immediately, but were identified.

Franklin Tehee reported a storage building being burglarized Sunday.

Linda Wilder reported a hit-and-run crash Saturday at Dollar General on Downing.

Faye Morrison and Diana Callaway spoke to police Saturday after their purses were taken from a vehicle.

Chelsea Davis reported a stolen X-Box Friday.

Jesus Martinez told police on Saturday that his white, 14-foot, enclosed trailer was stolen near Cedar and Downing last week.

Shana Davis told police last week that a car window was vandalized.
