Shoplifting dominates weekend police cases

TAHLEQUAH — Tahlequah police arrested an area woman Saturday after being called to Walmart.

Cindy K. Shroff, 31, of Tahlequah, allegedly shoplifted from the retailer.

Edith M. Cooper, 42, of Stilwell, was arrested last week for actual physical control after she was spotted in a car parked behind the Out West Cafe after 11 p.m.

Joshua Choate, 21, Marble City, was arrested Saturday for driving under the influence, eluding, transporting open container and driving under revocation after leading officers on a high-speed pursuit.

Jeremy A. Hawley, 21, of Tahlequah, was arrested Saturday night for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Hawley’s arrest was made near the intersection of Cedar and Ross streets.

Sharon K. Rodgers, 51, of Park Hill, was booked into jail Sunday after she allegedly shoplifted from Walmart.

Police took a report Sunday after a man went into EZ-Mart on Choctaw and tried to run out of the store with two 30-packs of Keystone Light beer. Officers said the clerk tried to stop the suspect, who dropped one case of beer but was able to get away with the other.

Regina Compelube reported the theft of an X-Box 360 Kinect with a console and an X-Box 360.

Jeannie Bunch told police her name was forged recently on some sort of contract.

Christopher Sherman reported two unauthorized charges on his debit card last Friday.

Employees at AAA Car Sales told police a used dealer tag was either lost or stolen last week.

Harold Shepherd filed a report Friday after a pair of spurs were stolen from the glove box in his vehicle.

Robbie Johnson told police Saturday that her vehicle was burglarized sometime between Friday night and Saturday morning.

Deidra Wofford reported stolen medication Saturday.

Donna Harless reported an assault Friday.

Robert McElhaney spoke to police recently about a cell phone being stolen.

Adam Garrett spoke to police last week after a stolen cell phone was later sold at a local business.

Ashlee Berner told police some property was stolen from inside her vehicle while it was parked in a driveway.

Ella Milstead filed a report Friday about a judge’s order being violated by a man.

Employees at Love’s spoke to officers last week about a fuel drive-off.

Brittany Childs filed a report last week about a possible theft from a storage unit.

Officers filed a report Saturday about a pistol being recovered.
