Local man nabbed for public intox, assault

TAHLEQUAH — Cherokee County sheriff’s deputies made an arrest Friday after a domestic assault.

Cameron S. Williams, 36, of Tahlequah, was booked for public intoxication and assault and battery. Williams allegedly choked a woman and took off running before officers arrived at the scene.

In other matters, Jesse Fine, 34, of Tahlequah, was booked for domestic assault and battery Sunday.

Trent Mitchell Mauldin, 28, of Tahlequah, was booked for resisting arrest and public intoxication Friday. Deputies said a homeowner called in a possible break-in, and Mauldin was seen on the porch of the home. He allegedly ran from officers, but was captured by Deputy Daniel Pruitt.

Chasity Renee Frazier, 32, of Collinsville, was arrested Sunday for public intoxication after a traffic stop on State Highway 82 south, near Park Hill.

Callan S. Jensen, 24, of Park Hill, was arrested Saturday for no driver’s license and outstanding warrants.

Deputies spoke to Trisha Holloway last week about threats.

Robert Stubbs reported theft of a weed-eater, tools, ladder and other items from a rental property last week.

David Young filed a report last week after six chains and other items were stolen out of his work truck.

Dustin McGavin spoke with deputies Saturday and said he was involved in a wreck after a vehicle crossed into his lane and struck his truck. Three men in the other vehicle then jumped out yelling at him and stole his driver’s license before fleeing the scene.
