TAHLEQUAH — Tahlequah police took a report Wednesday after a man stole two irons from a beauty supply business.

Employees at Sally Beauty Supply said a man in blue jeans, a camouflage cap, and a jean jacket walked into the store, concealed two flat irons under his jacket, then walked out without paying. He then got into a maroon, 1990s-model Chevrolet extended cab truck and left. Employees were able to get the tag number of the truck. A report has been submitted to the detective division.

In other matters, police took a report from Alvin Catron recently after property was stolen from his vehicle. Police said a Logic-brand, 12-inch monitor was taken, along with a custom-made, rear-view mirror that was brushed aluminum in color and in the shape of brass knuckles.

Lacy Gibson reported the theft of property this week.
