Five busted on alcohol charges

TAHLEQUAH — Tahlequah police arrested five people on alcohol-related charges after a traffic stop early Tuesday morning.

Jerrod Smith, 20, of Hulbert, was booked for driving under the influence of alcohol. Four passengers in the vehicle were arrested for public intoxication: Lane Poteet, 20, of Tahlequah; Lane Scoggins, 18, of Bartlett, Kan.; Shelby Peace, 20, of Cookson; and Tyler Stacey, 20, of Tahlequah.

Toby D. Bolinger, 33, of Westville, was arrested for DUI of drugs, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia Monday afternoon. Bolinger was allegedly driving a vehicle that was involved in a crash near Fourth Street and the Bertha Parker Bypass.

Jessica M. Negrete, 30, and Robert J. Mullen, 26, both of Tahlequah, were arrested Monday for shoplifting at Reasor’s.

Otto Kremmer reported his vehicle was broken into and a game, backpack and money were taken Monday.

Shelly Lesney reported being assaulted by her boyfriend last week.

Police spoke to Ashley Hougland recently about a domestic situation.

Officers filed a report Tuesday after Randy Crowe was found with a head injury and lying in the road on College Court.

Marie Watson spoke to police Monday about an XBox being stolen from her residence.

Tahlequah police took a report this week about a vehicle being vandalized. Chris Blish said the back glass of his vehicle was busted out.

Linda Hardison told police this week her residence was burglarized and all of her medication was taken.

Tia Sevenstar reported a stolen bicycle earlier this month.
