Man says hunting cabin burglarized

TAHLEQUAH — Cherokee County sheriff’s deputies spoke to a man last week after a hunting cabin was burglarized.

Billy Gibson said someone broke into the building and took hand-held radios, sleeping bags, food, a deer blind, mounted deer heads, and several other items.

Deputies spoke to Randal Overton Wednesday about a threat made during an argument.

Thomas McCombs said someone took a saw from the tool box in his truck this week.

Deputies spoke to a teen girl this week about being assaulted.

Elizabeth Linvick reported being threatened Wednesday.

Matt Richardson filed a report last week about someone cutting the lock on a garage door.
