Several people were arrested Wednesday after they allegedly stole items from Walmart.
According to Tahlequah Police Reserve Sgt. Matt Young, Jordan C. Scott, 19, of Tahlequah, was arrested after he allegedly took a PlayStation camera, opened the package and concealed the camera. Scott then allegedly left the store without paying, and ran when he was confronted by employees. He was captured a short time later.
About 10 minutes later, asset protection employees also noticed Elizabeth A. Dick, 25, of Tahlequah, take a swimsuit from a shelf and place it into the front of her pants. Dick tried to leave the store without paying but was stopped by employees.
Young said Dick and Scott had arrived at the store together. They were arrested for shoplifting and booked in at the city jail.
Jeffery D. Bonifant, 27, of Tahlequah, was also arrested at Walmart on Wednesday when he allegedly stole milk, bacon and cookies. Police said Bonifant ran from the store but was spotted and arrested a short time later.
Ronald Rider, 55, of Tahlequah, was arrested Wednesday for domestic assault.
Police spoke to Kirsti Cook Monday after her wallet was stolen from a car.
