Area woman picked up after traffic stop

TAHLEQUAH — A Bunch woman was arrested Thursday after a traffic stop near Cedar and Ward.

Virginia F. Shaw, 22, was arrested for driving under the influence. Tahlequah police stopped her for defective equipment, according to a report of Shaw’s arrest.

Louise Medlock told police Wednesday about a stolen 2000 Nissan Maxima.

Phyllis Wilfong reported suspicious activity in a parking lot Wednesday.

Jimmy Fort on Wednesday said someone stole checks from a mailbox.

Charles Waddle told police about mini-storage damage Wednesday.

Kayley Eubanks reported unauthorized charges to her debit card Wednesday. Police arrested Stormy Martin, 22, of Tahlequah, in relation to the report.

Inamai Maile reported stolen medication Wednesday.
