Stolen bicycle reported to cops


TAHLEQUAH — Officers for Tahlequah Police Department responded to a report of a stolen bicycle on Monday.

The complaint was filed by the bicycle’s owner, who claimed it was taken while parked on South Mission Avenue.

The bike is described as an 18-speed silver off-road with yellow camo bags on the handle bars.

On Tuesday, the Tahlequah Police Department took a report from a Northeastern State University student who claimed her cell phone was lost or stolen near Club EFFX. The phone was later recovered at the home of a friend of the complainant and officers took no further action.

A juvenile was arrested Monday for shoplifting at Walmart Supercenter at 2020 S. Muskogee Ave.

Officers took a report on Monday from a man who claimed his computer tablet was stolen and named a suspect.

On Nov. 8, a woman entered the station to report unauthorized use of a credit card on the Internet.

On Nov. 7, a complaint of vandalism was filed by a woman living in the Oakwood Addition.

Police received a report on Nov. 7 of a larceny in the 1000 block of North Francis Avenue.

On Oct. 9, police took a report in the station from a woman reporting a juvenile runaway.
