Cherokee County sheriff’s deputies arrested a Hulbert man Saturday after he allegedly obstructed officers.
Justin Brent Baisden, 30, was booked into jail for obstruction. Baisden was arrested after deputies responded to a domestic disturbance.
Deputies arrested Robin Renee McCarty, 39, of Wichita, for driving under the influence, left of center, and no driver’s license last week. Deputy Raymond Hendricks said he stopped a Chevrolet Tahoe on State Highway 10 after the vehicle crossed the center line. Truitt allegedly told deputies she had consumed one beer, but a test given more than 30 minutes after her arrest showed she had a breath-alcohol content of .11.
Dylan T. Lawson, 19, of Keota, was arrested Saturday for driving under the influence while under 21. Lawson was stopped on S.H. 10, and he allegedly admitted he had consumed eight beers earlier in the day. Deputies said Lawson had a breath-alcohol content of .11.
Deputies spoke with Carl Shade Jr. on Friday after Shade determined a suspect he believes he knows broke into his vehicle while he was at church.
Jimmy McDaniel filed a burglary report Saturday.
Tammie Pritchett reported a residential break-in Saturday.
Bill Holcomb filed a report last week after he discovered his checks were being cashed at Walmart and other places. Holcomb told deputies he believes he knows the woman who cashed the checks.
Chase Vann filed a report last week and said he and his neighbors’ vehicles were burglarized.
Deputies spoke with Jon Hayes Friday and took a fraud report based on the sale of a truck.

Charles Stewart told deputies Saturday that he has been threatened by a known suspect.
Stephen Adelson reported a shop burglary Friday.
Daniel Bruner told deputies his Dodge truck was taken by a 17-year-old boy and was damaged while the boy had the truck.
Lori Crow reported a home break-in Friday.
