Sheriff's Beat: Deputies take report on disappearance of iPad

TAHLEQUAH — Cherokee County sheriff’s deputies took a report this week after an iPad disappeared.

Jacey Blaylock said the iPad was thought to be misplaced, but a program designed to help locate missing or stolen iPads showed the device to be at a specific location outside of Cherokee County. Details also provided Blaylock with a suspect name. According to deputies, Blaylock also reported a missing Gibson guitar.

In other matters, sheriff’s deputies took a report from Lavonna Harper this week. Harper filed the report on behalf of her mother, and said her mother has been charged at by a neighbor’s dog.
