Sheriff's Beat: Deputies take theft report

TAHLEQUAH — Cherokee County sheriff’s deputies took a theft report this week.

Michael Desantis told deputies his daughter’s RCA tablet was taken from an apartment at Garden Walk.

Justin Copeland filed a burglary report last week. Copeland said the suspects broke into an office and took three 20-ton air jacks and a battery charger.

Randy Ward spoke with deputies recently when it was discovered that a brake line on his vehicle had been cut with a sharp object.

Donny Ward filed a threats report Tuesday.

Deputies filed a death-investigation report Tuesday on 87-year-old Earl Mabray, of Tahlequah. Manner of death is listed as accidental.
