Police Beat: Woman arrested on shoplifting charge

TAHLEQUAH — Police arrested a local wom-an this week after she allegedly shoplifted from Walmart.

Andrea K. Wyers, 23, of Tahlequah, walked out of Walmart without paying for a bag of cosmetics. Walmart’s asset-protection employees apprehended Wyers and she was later booked into jail.

Police spoke to Delmar Asbill after a toolbox and light bulbs were stolen from a residence.
