Police Beat: Shoplifting arrest made

TAHLEQUAH — Local police arrested a Fort Gibson man Wednesday after responding to Walmart for a shoplifter. Michael C. Crossland, 28, was booked into jail for larceny and for an outstanding warrant out of Muskogee County.

Derek Unger, 23, of Stilwell, was arrested Wednesday evening for allegedly shoplifting from Walmart.

Police took a report from Kimberly Bolden this week, who said her cousin’s chain saw was stolen from her garage.

Crystal Brown filed a report Monday.

Employees at Factory Connection told police Tuesday a shoplifter left with over $200 worth of clothing.

Stacey Youngblood reported the violation of a protective order Wednesday.

Frank Wofford told officers this week a handgun was stolen from his truck.

Employees of Sadler Paper Co. told police Wednesday they stopped to make a delivery in the 1,200 block of South Muskogee, and an unknown suspect stole a company dolly and money from the truck.

Pamela Carter reported the violation of a protective order Tuesday.
