Sheriff's Beat: Man jailed for assault

TAHLEQUAH — A Tahlequah man was arrested Thursday after he allegedly assaulted another man.

Jorge Luis Montoya Jr., 22, was booked for domestic assault and battery in the presence of a minor.

Ramon Ferman told deputies Montoya attacked him by punching him in the face several times and pushing him.

In other matters, Daniel Davis told deputies his landscape trailer was stolen last week.

Kassandra Blackman filed a threats report Wednesday.

Gary Smith filed a vandalism report recently.

Gary McCall filed a theft report Thursday.

Tyler Hicks spoke with deputies Wednesday and said a woman pulled a pistol, pointed it at him, and threatened to shoot him.

Troy Chisum filed an information report Wednesday.

Brenda Buchanan filed a vandalism report Wednesday.

Paula Hayes filed a vandalism report last week.
