Sheriff's Beat: School truck stolen

TAHLEQUAH — Employees at Grand View School have spoke with Cherokee County sheriff’s deputies after a school truck was stolen.

George Kennedy told deputies the suspect jumped a fence and stole a silver 2001 Dodge Ram 1500, with tag number T442. Gates were also torn down and were found about a mile away from the school.

In other matters, Elizabeth Gipson told deputies that five tires on three vehicles were cut, as well as a tire on a boat trailer.
