Trespasser with dog jailed for public intox

TAHLEQUAH — Cherokee County sheriff’s deputies arrested a man Tuesday evening after responding to a report of a trespasser who had a large, aggressive dog.

Cody Ray King, 39, of Tahlequah, was booked into jail for public intoxication. Deputies said residents in the area were having issues with King and his dog. King approached deputies while they were on the scene, and allegedly said he had consumed six or more beers.

In other matters, employees of A.K. Cleaning Solutions of Arkansas filed a report after they issued a cleaning system to a consignment contractor, and the woman has failed to return the system.

Mashele Morehouse filed a harassment report Tuesday.
