Egg-lobbing nets arrest

TAHLEQUAH — A group of juveniles and one adult were arrested Monday night by Tahlequah police after they were caught throwing eggs at another vehicle.

According to police, the group threw eggs at the vehicle on South Mission Avenue, and a citizen eventually stopped the suspects’ car. One juvenile ran and escaped police, but everyone else – including 18-year-old Forrest L. Cobb, of Tahlequah – was taken to the city jail and charged with vandalism.

In other matters, John D. Green, 23, of Tahlequah, was arrested Monday for destruction of property after a disturbance was reported.

Jordan Price, 20, of Tahlequah, was arrested early Tuesday morning near Muskogee and Downing for driving under the influence.

Melissa Fisher filed a report Saturday about a man damaging the radiator on her company vehicle. Fisher said she has a protective order against the suspect.

Officers responded Saturday to the area near Oklahoma and Goingsnake after witnesses saw a man take mail from a neighbor’s mailbox, open the mail, then conceal something in his shorts. The mail was then discarded into an alley, police said.

Kristen Young told police Tuesday she heard a loud noise at her door and discovered glass had been broken out of a window.
