Traffic stop sparks arrest

TAHLEQUAH — An early morning traffic stop Wednesday prompted the arrest of a local man.

Clinton B. Turner, 21, allegedly drove into the wrong lane of traffic at about 2:05 a.m., near York Street. Police stopped Turner and arrested him from driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under suspension and for a city warrant.

Steven Nolan, 49, Tahlequah, was arrested last week for DUI of drugs and drug possession after a traffic stop.

Officers conducted a traffic stop last weekend on Keegan Bullard, 24, of Stillwater, and arrested him for DUI. A passenger, 23-year-old Nathaniel Watkins of Cushing, was arrested for public intoxication.

Christina Large, 30, of Hulbert, was arrested over the weekend for drug charges and for allegedly taking fuel from a convenience store.

Justin Webb spoke to police Monday after his truck grill was vandalized while he was at work.

Brittany Oxford reported a possible violation of a protective order Saturday.

Chelesa Sharp filed a stolen-bike report Tuesday.

Suzanne McDaniel spoke with officers this week about receiving text messages that violate a protective order.
