Police arrest shoplifter

TAHLEQUAH — Tahlequah police arrested an accused shoplifter Monday at Walmart.

Asset-protection employees called police after Tony Dixon, 36, Tahlequah, allegedly shoplifted.

Police arrested Kenneth W. Grimmett, 39, of Park Hill, for driving under the influence second or subsequent, driving while revoked and failure to obey a traffic control device last week.

Kelly M. Ahrens, 47, Tahlequah, was arrested last Friday for DUI and driving without being licensed.

Police spoke to Paul Carter Tuesday about being verbally threatened.
