TAHLEQUAH — Cherokee County sheriff’s deputies took a burglary report last week.

Sabrina Wood said an intruder broke into her home and took a Wii, a PlayStation 2, and a PlayStation 3, along with accompanying controllers and games. The suspects also took two black-powder muzzle loaders, including a Thompson bolt-action .50-caliber, and a CVA breakover .50-caliber with a black scope. A Remington model 66, .22-caliber rifle was also stolen.

In other matters, investigators said a vehicle crashed through a barbed-wire fence Monday and rolled over. The crash damaged a large portion of the fence, and the driver fled from the scene.

Barbara Boston spoke with deputies this week after she found a man’s credit card on her back porch last Friday.

Charles Stewart reported a horse that is allowed to run loose and said it tore down a fence and crippled a cow.
