Cherokee County sheriff’s deputies arrested a Tahlequah man Wednesday after he showed up at a home and began knocking on the door.
The homeowner told deputies he didn’t know Dillon Lee Reid, 21, and that he just arrived at the home and began to knock on its door. Deputies said Reid smelled of alcohol, was unsteady on his feet, and couldn’t provide an answer as to why he was at the residence. He was arrested for public intoxication.
In other matters, Larry Wallington told deputies Wednesday that a sticker tag was stolen from his vehicle.
Betha Kramer told deputies a man may have violated a protective order by going to her home Wednesday.
