Tahlequah police arrested a man Sunday evening for allegedly taking a woman’s car by force.
Robbie L. Holmes, 25, was booked into jail for robbery by force or fear. According to a police affidavit, the alleged victim told officers Holmes forced her to exit her vehicle and then took the vehicle.
In other matters, police arrested 52-year-old Jerry W. Batt Friday evening when Batt was intoxicated at Love’s Country Store. Batt was allegedly sitting in the store and yelling at customers.
Audrey Howard, 29, of Tahlequah, was arrested early Saturday morning after she allegedly vandalized a vehicle while she was intoxicated.
Michael Matthews, 22, of Tahlequah, was arrested Sunday morning for domestic assault and battery. According to police, Matthews assaulted a woman by pushing her down and pressing on her face.
Police were called to a local emergency room Sunday night and spoke to Raul Hernandez, who had been stabbed by another man during an argument over a propane tank.
Officers spoke to Lauren Havens on Friday about a tire being slashed and another being deflated.
Laverne Templeman spoke with police Saturday about her vehicle being damaged.
Police responded Friday night after a red truck crashed into a parked vehicle on Goingsnake and then fled the area. Police later received a call after someone spotted a red truck that had suffered front-end damage driving recklessly. When officers arrived in the area, they found Sanders Mouse walking down the road. Mouse allegedly admitted he had been in the truck, but refused to provide any other information about who was in the truck or where it had gone. Mouse was booked into jail for public intoxication and a hold was placed on him for detectives.
