Air conditioners stolen from Shady Grove School

TAHLEQUAH — Cherokee County sheriff’s deputies took a report this week after air conditioning units were stolen from Shady Grove School.

Shady Grove Superintendent Fred Ferguson told School Resource Officer Roger Fine the suspect spray painted a parking-lot camera and turned the cameras toward a wall.

In other matters, Sheelia Fritts told deputies she was out jogging when she was bitten by a dog.

James Points spoke with deputies Sunday after members of the Clear Creek Freewill Baptist Church in Hulbert realized their two-ton air units were stolen.

Patricia Potts reported the unauthorized use of a vehicle last week.

Robert Waddle reported a lost or stolen heifer that he last saw on Sept. 26.

Jamie Maclaughlan filed an information report Tuesday.
