Truck stolen from preserve

TAHLEQUAH — Cherokee County sheriff’s deputies took a report this week after a truck was stolen from a local nature preserve.

Employees at the J.T. Nickel Family Nature and Wildlife Preserve said a 1985 Ford F-350 flatbed truck was stolen, along with a herbicide sprayer, metal, used tires, and fuel from vehicles.

Tyler Wagers spoke with deputies this week after a window was broken out of a building on State Highway 10.

Jennifer Conrad spoke with deputies this week about boots, shirts and laundry detergent being stolen.

Gilbert Hutchins filed a vandalism report last week.
