Welling women picked up on shoplifting charge

TAHLEQUAH — Tahlequah police arrested a Welling woman Thursday after employees at Walmart caught her taking merchandise.

Christina M. Clinton, 25, was arrested at the retailer for shoplifting.

In other matters, police spoke to Gayla Mcanally Thursday after she reported a hit-and-run at her work place. Mcanally said an unknown person in a green Chevrolet Camaro with a tan rag top backed into her Jeep. The driver in the Camaro then left the scene of the crash.

Robert Bechtol told police Thursday he lost a bag containing all of his medication while he was in the process of moving to a new home.

Derrick Wolfe spoke to police Wednesday after his residence was burglarized. The suspects took a TV and PlayStation.

John H. Dallis spoke to officers Friday about being the victim of an Internet loan scam.
