TAHLEQUAH — Two Stilwell residents were injured Monday morning when their vehicle struck a patch of ice and crashed east of Tahlequah.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers said 75-year-old Donald Hall was driving a 2000 Ford Escort west on State Highway 51, near 585 Road, when the car hit ice, left the road, drove over a culvert and finally stopped in an embankment.

Donald Hall was transported to Tahlequah City Hospital with internal trunk injuries and was listed in stable condition Monday afternoon, troopers said.

Margaret Hall, a 67-year-old passenger, was flown by medical helicopter to St. Francis in Tulsa to be treated for head, trunk internal and leg injuries, troopers said. She was listed in critical condition.
