Two popped after vehicle pursuit

TAHLEQUAH — Tahlequah police arrested two people Friday after a vehicle pursuit near Park Hill Road.

Rick A. Aguilar, 21, and Jesus J. Ruiz III, 21, both of Tahlequah, were arrested after Aguilar ran from an officer checkpoint and led police on the pursuit.

Brittney S. Kirk, 30, of Tahlequah, was arrested on a warrant, and police said officers found two bags of a white, powdery substance in Kirk’s possession when she was being booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center.

Richard B. Ryals, 24, of Tahlequah, was arrested Saturday for knowingly concealing stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Monette Ellis, 40, was arrested Sunday for destruction of private property.

Kevin Ellis, 43, of Tahlequah, was arrested Saturday for driving under the influence and driving under suspension.

Clyde Hall II spoke to police Saturday about being assaulted.

Cori Beights spoke to police Friday after her purse, medication, earrings, and other items were stolen from her vehicle.

Leesa Meadows reported a crash Saturday.

Jordan Jorgenson told police Friday her vehicle was struck on the side and the suspect left the scene of the crash.

Police filed a report Saturday when a window at Cox Pharmacy was broken out and items were stolen from inside the business.

Cory Farrow reported the burglary of a vehicle Sunday.

Phyllis Walker told police Thursday that her vehicle has been vandalized.

Deleana Kirk filed an assault report Saturday.
