Man, kids picked up for shoplifting

TAHLEQUAH — Tahlequah police reported that they arrested a local man Tuesday afternoon when he and two juveniles were allegedly caught shoplifting.

Shawn Begley, 18, of Tahlequah, was booked into jail for petit larceny. Both juveniles who were caught with him were released to family members.

In other matters in the city limits, police took a report recently from Mark Foster, who said he was forced out of his vehicle under threat of a weapon, and the vehicle later crashed into trailers at Tractor Supply.

Karissa Tyer filed an assault and vandalism report Tuesday.
