Police Beat: Several arrested after stop

TAHLEQUAH — Tahlequah police arrested six people on alcohol-related charges early Friday morning after a traffic stop.

Justice R. Shepherd, 18, of Keota, was booked for driving under the influence while under the age of 21. Five passengers in Shepherd’s car were arrested for public intoxication: Dylan T. Lawson, 19, of Keota; Kylie S. Drummonds, 18, of Keota; Chasten E. Dix, 22, of Keota; Alisha N. Bryant, 19, of Stigler; and Emmari F. Hume, 18, of Keota.

Rhoanda A. Bunch, 55, of Stilwell, and Quanah M. Bunch, 33, of Stilwell, were both arrested after they allegedly shoplifted at Walmart and ran. They were stopped at Reasor’s and taken to jail.

Meghan L. Heinicke, 32, of Tahlequah, was arrested last week for driving under the influence; and a passenger in the vehicle, 37-year-old Welling resident Jacob Christie, was also booked into jail.

Officers took a report from Larry Lawrence Wednesday after a home was burglarized.
