Woman arrested in wake of traffic stop

TAHLEQUAH — Tahlequah police arrested a local woman this week after a traffic stop near Choctaw and College.

Misty Rogers, 31, of Tahlequah, was booked in for driving while impaired and other traffic-related charges. She was initially stopped for speeding, according to police.

Susan Scraper spoke with police Wednesday about being threatened.

Employees at Car-Mart reported a lost or stolen dealer’s tag Wednesday.

Don Kempf spoke to officers this week after a screen was removed from a home window during an attempted break-in.

Kendra Tinnin filed a report Wednesday after items were stolen from her vehicle. Tinnin said medication was taken from the glove box, along with her child’s sing-along CD, and a hooded shirt.

Officers filed a report Thursday after a cell phone was found at a rural school cross country meet at Cherokee Landing.
