Couple reports assault

TAHLEQUAH — Cherokee County sheriff’s deputies took a report this week of an assault.

Corey Taylor and Makala Porter told deputies they went to a neighbor’s house to ask for a ride, and ended up involved in scuffle, during which they were assaulted.

Cecelia Allard told deputies about a possible attempted break-in this week. Allard said her dogs began to bark and when she looked outside, a man was standing on her porch. She told him to leave several times, and he eventually did so.

Afton Kessinger spoke with deputies this week about the violation of a protective order.

Deputies took a report from a woman earlier this week who said her 15-year-old son was slapped in the face by a woman, then held down by a man who allowed his son to hit the teen in the face.

Alex Wacoche spoke to deputies this week about a dog bite.

Autumn Ketcher reported the unauthorized use of a vehicle Wednesday.

Linda Holland filed a report earlier his week when her dog was shot.

Ronnie Osburn spoke with deputies about being assaulted last week.

Joanna Reedy filed an assault report Nov. 4.

Afton Kessinger reported the violation of a protective order Wednesday.
