Muskogee man arrested for DUI

TAHLEQUAH — A Muskogee man was booked into jail Thursday after a traffic stop on South Muskogee Avenue.

Fred A. Oliver Jr., 28, was allegedly driving 63 mph in a 35-mph zone and was arrested for driving under the influence. Police said Oliver also had no insurance.

Cassie M. Handle, 22, of Tahlequah, was arrested Tuesday for shoplifting at Walmart.

Employees at Walmart also filed a report Wednesday after a shoplifter ran from the store without paying for merchandise.

Kristie Ford spoke with police Wednesday when a suspect broke the glass on a window and tried to climb into her home.
