Woman reports terriers stolen

TAHLEQUAH — Tahlequah police took a report Wednesday when a local woman said two West Highland Terriers were stolen from her home.

Mary Oglesbee said the canines – one male, one female – are registered and are both white. A neighbor reported seeing a dark-colored truck pulling a trailer with lawn equipment pull into Oglesbee’s driveway, followed by a car. A woman then went onto Oglesbee’s property and helped a man in the truck take the dogs. The truck then left and went one direction while the car went another.

In other matters, Suzanne Morrison spoke to police Tuesday about an assault and theft of property. Morrison said the incident occurred at a storage facility and involved a dispute over rental money.

Officers spoke to a clerk at Clear Creek 66 Tuesday after a suspect entered the store, grabbed some beer and ran out without paying.

Jeff Porter reported a hit-and-run crash Tuesday.

Leekelli Hall spoke with officers Wednesday about a theft.

An employee at Game Exchange spoke with police this week after her Nexus tablet was stolen from her purse.

Officers filed a report this week after serving a search warrant in the 1300 block of Elizabeth for possible drug activity. No arrests were made but charges could be filed.
