Man tells deputies woman stabbed him

TAHLEQUAH — Cherokee County sheriff’s deputies took a report this week after a man said he was stabbed.

Deputies met with Hubbard Stanley at the Tahlequah City Hospital emergency room. Stanley was being treated for a cut, and told deputies he was involved in an argument with a woman when she stabbed his arm.

Deputies spoke to Cherish Moore Wednesday after she said a man pulled a gun on her. Moore said she went to the man’s home because she believed he had taken her dog. The man became upset and pulled the gun as she tried to leave.

Eric Grimmett spoke to deputies Wednesday about a burglary at his mother’s residence. Grimmett said the home was burglarized about a month ago and he tried to lock up the property, but caught someone trying to get in recently.

Barbara Marshall reported a burglary of a garage and well house this week.

Jeffrey Jones reported theft of a table and chairs this week.

Ashley Vann reported theft of money Wednesday.

George Long told deputies this week someone broke into his barn and took several things, including a 1948 Ford tractor.

Ramon Kosmartin filed an information report Wednesday.
