Police Beat: Disturbance nets arrest

TAHLEQUAH — Cherokee County sheriff’s deputies arrested two people Tuesday after responding to a disturbance.

Deputies said both suspects – 41-year-old Anthony Solider and 38-year-old Lena Blossom-Solider, both of Tahlequah – were arrested for outstanding warrants, public intoxication and obstructing officers.

Deputies took a report from Sheryl Mast this week after Mast’s dogs became ill. Mast believes several of her canines were poisoned; one died.

Shirley Jones told deputies a table saw, drill press, power washer, chain saw, leaf blower, battery charger, air compressor, drills and a jig saw were stolen from a storage building recently.

Julie Vinson reported the violation of a protective order this week.
