Area events postponed

Winter weather is still wrecking havoc on the local sports schedule.

After scrapping events from the Greenleaf Invitational in Porum to the Border War Dual tournament in Jay last week, more events are already postponed for tonight.

With Tahlequah and Keys Public Schools both out today, Tahlequah’s home wrestling dual against McAlester is postponed with no makeup available yet. Keys’ home basketball games against Wagoner are also postponed with a makeup date to be decided at a later date.

As of deadline time on Monday night, Sequoyah’s basketball teams were still slated to play in the Jerry O’Quin Tournament in Inola today. The Sequoyah boys will take on Fort Gibson at 5:30 p.m. while the Sequoyah girls will play Inola at 7 p.m.
