Alva upends No. 1 Adair for Class 3A girls championship

Hobbs made 9 of 19 field goals and 12 of 14 free throws. She also had eight rebounds and three steals for the Goldbugs (28-2). It was Alva's first state title since 2003 — the other came in 1924. The Goldbugs were the Class 2A runner-up last year.
